Job Description: Hydrogeologist

Qualified candidates will have a B.S. Geology or Engineering and a M.S. Hydrogeology or any similar quantitative engineering or earth science. We are interested in finding a candidate who has general problem solving experience and who has 3 - 5 years experience modeling groundwater flow for water resource and/or environmental projects. Ideally this person has the ability to make cogent public presentations.

Responsibilities could include:

• Analytic element and/or numerical finite difference groundwater modeling projects.
• Design, set up, and execution of aquifer performance tests.
• Pressure transducer/data logger programming and installation.
• Data processing and interpretation.
• Well design and construction.
• Groundwater sampling.
• Well Head Protection Area Delineation and Management
• Potentiometric surveying.
• Rotary test drilling and lithology sampling.
• Down hole geophysical logging.
• Down hole video logging.
• Map interpretation.
• Technical writing
