Senior Project Manager
Minimum Requirements : BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related science field.
Candidates must have worked in or consulted to the oil and gas industry in the Rocky Mountain West. Candidates must currently live or be willing to relocate to Salt Lake City, western Wyoming or eastern Utah.

This position is a blend of business development, client management and project work for the oil and gas industry. Candidate must be able to work independently, in Eastern Utah and Western Wyoming, while taking a leadership role with a well established URS oil and gas team in Denver and Glenwood Springs. They must have the ability to staff and perform ongoing projects and develop project leads with both new and existing oil and gas clients. Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills are necessary. Demonstrated technical skills in one or more areas of environmental science and/or engineering related to the oil and gas industry such as environmental permitting, compliance, water resources, air resources, engineering design, etc. is required. Demonstrated business development skills related to the oil and gas industry will be important for the candidate's success. Candidate must be able to build strong internal and external relationships.

Position Description : PE or PG, desired but not required, and 10 years of experience. The Project Environmental Science or Project Engineer level position will require the selected candidate to develop and manage environmental and engineering projects for URS oil and gas clients primarily in Eastern Utah and Western Wyoming. Responsibilities will include extensive interaction with existing and potential oil and gas clients to identify and manage projects. Prior industry or consulting experience for the oil and gas industry, including business development, is a must. Must have the ability to work independently /remotely while establishing strong relationships with the URS oil and gas team. Must also have the ability to "see the big picture" and to cross sell URS services beyond environmental during client discussions. Ideally the candidate will already have established relationships with oil and gas companies in the Rocky Mountain West, including Utah and Wyoming.

Environmental Engineer
Minimum Requirements : Education: BS in Engineering (Geological, Geotechnical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Environmental).
License / Certifications: OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.

Entry level or three years environmental experience including: investigations (groundwater and soil sampling); remedial designs, plans and specifications; data analysis and reporting. Fully capable in using MS Word, MS Excel, and other computer-based engineering tools. Solid writing and presentation skills. The ability to achieve results working both independently and collaboratively in groups of smart creative professionals.

Position Description : Employee will participate at the entry-level on multidisciplinary teams engaged in diverse environmental projects. Typical projects may include field work and sampling of all media in support of remedial investigations, remedial design calculations, preparation of plans, specifications, and reporting. Data reduction, analysis, and presentation are involved. Candidate must work well in groups, have excellent writing skills, and is expected to be fully capable in MS Word, MS Excel, and other computer engineering tools. AutoCAD, Microstation, or ARCGIS skills also needed for some projects.
