IGWMC GROUND-WATER MODELING CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

Copies are available of proceedings of the 1993 IGWMC/CSM Ground-Water Modeling Conference and the 1994 IGWMC/CSU Ground-Water Modeling Conference.

The 1993 Ground-Water Modeling Conference was held at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM), Golden, Colorado on June 9-12, 1993. This conference was organized by the International Ground Water Modeling Center, in collaboration with the CSM's Office of Special Programs and Continuing Education. The proceedings contain more than 50 papers on modeling and parameter estimation, calibration, movement of non-aqueous phase liquids, uncertainty, quality assurance, vapor transport, unsaturated flow, and contaminant trasnport.

The 1994 Ground-Water Modeling Conference was held at the campus of Colorado State University (CSU), Fort Collins, Colorado, August 10-13, 1994. The conference was organized by the Groundwater/Environmental Hydrology Program, Department of Civil Engineering, Colorado State University in collaboration with the International Ground Water Modeling Center. The proceedings contain about 50 papers covering modeling issues related to groundwater supply and management, parameter estimation and spatial variability, new techniques in ground-water modeling, contaminant transport, risk assessment and uncertainty, vapor transport, unsaturated flow, and modeling of chemical reactions in ground water.

Both proceedings are available from the IGWMC for US$ 50, plus US$ 5 shipping (USA) or $15 (surface mail). International Ground Water Modeling Center, Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado 80401, USA; phone: +1 303 273-3103; fax: +1 303 384-2037; Email: igwmc@mines.edu
