• Prepare a short paper for publication in the proceedings and send your electronic manuscript as an attached PDF file to igwmc@mines.edu by the March 10, 2008 deadline. The paper will be scanned to check format. If your file does not adhere to the guidelines, it will be returned for revision as per the format guidelines. We cannot guarantee that the paper will be included in the proceedings unless it is corrected and returned promptly, because the publication timeline is tight.   • We request that you register for the conference when you submit your paper ($625 US). However, if you cannot send the full registration at that time, please include the $350 US non-refundable publication fee, which will be applied to your registration fee when you register for the conference.
  • Your poster session and reception will be held with Happy Hour on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 5:15 to 7:30 P.M. in Friedhoff Hall II in the basement of the Green Center.
  • Your poster board will be marked with your name. Poster board surface is 4 feet high by 8 feet wide; green background. Please bring pushpins or Velcro to mount your poster and your own title for posting.
  • Authors are responsible for the set up and tear down of their printed materials.

  • Posters may be set up betwen 1:00 and 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.

  • Posters are to be removed on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 between 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 noon.  Materials left after noon on Wednesday will be discarded.

  • Some authors like to print page size copies of the posters that interested viewers can take with them. We encourage this and suggest authors bring a pocket style folder that can be tacked to the poster board to hold the copies.

  • You may also want to bring a sign-up sheet to record names and addresses of attendees who wish more information.

  • If you should have any questions throughout the conference, feel free to ask your questions of anyone who is working the registration desk.
