Parking is somewhat limited on campus and visitors are encouraged to use public transportation if possible. Visitors who do drive onto campus are required to display a free temporary parking permit available from the Public Safety office (1812 Illinois Street), and at IGWMC.

Visitor parking is restricted to legal parking spaces on the campus streets (though a permit is still required) and those parking lots labeled "Visitor" or "Student/Visitor." Visitors are NOT allowed to park in reserved parking lots unless special permission has been granted in advance, and the Public Safety Department has been notified.

Visitor vehicles observed parking in violation of CSM regulations or City of Golden ordinances will be ticketed. If an illegally parked vehicle is presenting a safety hazard or obstructing traffic it may be towed.
